 Problemas con dlt tape

Hola priemro que todo, hace tiempo que no posteaba y me parece una excelente base de conocimiento la página, quería hacerles unas consultillas con respecto a mi server de respaldo.


Es un Super micro Xeon 3.2 Ghz, discos seagate scsi estan en raid 1 y posee una controladora scsi, bueno el cuento es que para empezar a estandarizar el cuento ahora tenemos puros CentOs antes habia de todo (Debian-Red hat 7.3, Mandrake) este último tenia mandrake, el asunto es que primero al querer instalar centOs no me reconocia el disco (la controladora scsi ) el cuento lo solucione instalando centos en modo noprobe y agregue de forma manual el driver i2o block_driver y hay si me tomo la controladora y por ende los discos duros scsi, bueno no me habia percatado que ahora mi problema sería con la dlt tape vs80 que no me reconoce, en /proc/scsi/scsi no me sale nada y en dmseg solo me da que reconocio la controladora.


no se si va aca alomejor en software, creo..

yo tambien respaldaba en DLT, primero en una Quantum y despues lo hice en una HP, con CentOS, ni RedHat, jamas tuve ese problema tuyo. ¿Tu DLT como mesta conectada en tu server?, es externa o interna?

Hola, es interna esta conectada por la controladora scsi, si eso me parace raro aparte CentOs es para servidores y antes con un mandrake la tomo sin ningun problema eso es lo mas raro de todo...



Ojala me orienten un poco de como agregarla o instalar algun drivers, me meti a la pagina del fabricante pero solo salen drivers para wintendo$ .
